Hello, my name is Morgan Johnson. I'm a chef from the great state of Vermont. I grew up in the county and was raised on the food that we have there, even going as far as cooking in the woods as an Eagle Scout for my troop. That started my love for cooking . I pursued a career in cooking starting my journey at Riverbend Career and Technical Center culinary arts program. After Riverbend I went to Scotland, where I attended an intensive 6 month culinary arts course at the Edinburgh School of Food and Wine. I studied under chef Chris Stewart who, before becoming a teacher, had been the head pastry chef of the Waldorf Astoria in Edinburgh. There I was taught the artistry and science behind what makes beautiful and delicious food.
Since returning from Scotland I have had several jobs working in kitchens. First I worked at the Tuckerbox in White River Junction where I was a breakfast and lunch chef. From there I moved on to Ariana's in Orford New Hampshire, working the dinner shift plating and prepping foods. After these experiences I decided to start my own business. This gives me the freedom to share with you and many others, a creative variety of foods and ingredients you will enjoy.
As a personal chef, I provide a professional gourmet catering service for you, your family, and friends in the comfort of your own home. With over 5 years of gourmet cooking experience, I am equipped with the skills necessary to provide up to 20 meals for your personal weekly meal plan, or a full 3 course dinner for you and your guests. I also offer classes.
